The LowDown
on Local Elections
We’re trying out Elections 2.0 here at the LowDown Online. We’ve offered candidates their own mini-blogs on our site, to post their campaign ideas, answer our questions - and take yours, too. This is another LD online experiment - so we’re only starting with Chelsea and La Peche this year.
Don’t forget - we want your feedback. Make sure to give your two cents in the comments section at the bottom of each page.

I have looked at both the blogs of Liam Fitzgerald and Caryl Green. Strangely, Ms. Green’s blog seems to have no information about her platform or positions on issues.
Could this be like a radio interview at the time of the May referendum on the Meredith Centre when Richard Hofer stated real facts and figures on the cost of this project while Ms. Green simply repeated “a place to gather and celebrate”. Caryl, we need facts not the warm fuzzies.
I have looked at Liam Fitzgerald’s blog and at Caryl Green’s. Ms
Green’s gives no information only a picture.
Is this a return of Caryl’s media interview at the time of the referendum where her sole justification for the Meredith Centre was “a place to gather and celebrate”.
Caryl, we need facts not the warm fuzzies.
To be fair, it should be pointed out that Caryl Green has her own website, which is linked on her mini-blog on this site. She decided she only wanted the link from the Low Down site instead of posting her material here.
Oh wait! Caryl Green just emailed us her platform. Make sure to check it out on her mini-blog page.
I’m feeling neglected here in ward 5…
