The Low Down to Hull and Back News is a fiesty little independent newspaper located in the Gatineau Hills of West Quebec.

Started by Art and Kitty Mantell on their kitchen table in 1973, their daughter Nikki took over as publisher in 1998. Distributed every Wednesday to subscribers by mail or for purchase at local retail outlets, The Low Down has won numerous awards but never missed a deadline.

We serve the communities of Chelsea, La Peche, Wakefield, Cantley, Low, Kazabazua, Lac St. Marie, Denholm, and Danford Lake, among others.
