Go greener, Chelsea, Quebec candidates!

The Editor,

10 things I want to see from a new council in Chelsea

- Scales on the garbage trucks so people who waste the most, pay the most

- There is a minimum square footage for new construction, how about a maximum square footage?

- A proper organic waste solution for residences

- Actively promote composting toilets and change by-laws so we can use them

- A plan to get Chelsea some form of renewable energy on its buildings

- A train station and a commuter train to town

- A community garden

- Hybrid municipal vehicles

- Anti-idling by-law

- A by-law to keep chain stores out of Chelsea (may already exist)

Here Here! I fully agree Marc…this is the best and most specific platform I’ve heard yet!! You should be running for council!
